Mr.O's 4th grade class '13-'14 presents: The Solar System!
Welcome to our Solar System website! Our class researched all eight (nine, if you include Pluto!) of the planets in the Solar System and answered the guidance questions below in order to collect more information about each planet:
What are the two parts of the Solar System and which part is your planet located in?
What are the two main planet types in our Solar System and which type is your planet?
What does the surface of your planet look like? (short description)
What is the average temperature on your planet?
How far from the Sun is your planet?
How big/small is your planet and how does that compare to Earth?
How long does it take for your planet to orbit the sun (year) and rotate on it's axis (day)?
How many moons does your planet have, if any, and do they have names?
Find three interesting or little known facts about your planet.
Our class GUARANTEES that this website will teach you a lot about our Solar System and provide you access to the websites we used to collect our information. We hope you have as much fun learning from it as we had creating it!
